In 2026 spring, the Estonian Association of Educational Technologists, together with the Ministry of Education and Research, launched a new initiative to support general education schools in developing their use of educational technology. Beyond schools consulting, the collaboration also opens the door to shared learning experiences: participation in Moodle Moot 2026 will be supported, and schools that wish to showcase their work will be able to host visiting educational technologists from across Estonia. This opportunity isn’t limited to general education schools — vocational and higher education institutions are also welcome to take part.

These visits are meant to spark real conversations, strengthen professional networks, and give edtech specialists the chance to learn directly from one another’s everyday practice. Whether it’s a clever workflow, a digital learning strategy that actually works, or a small idea that grew into something bigger, the goal is to bring these stories into the open and help the whole community grow together.

In the coming months, we’ll begin gathering information from schools, vocational institutions, and universities that are interested in opening their doors to colleagues. If your institution has a story to share or a project you’re proud of, we’d love to hear from you. By bringing these experiences into the open, we hope to help the entire community grow stronger together.
