A delegation from the board of the Estonian Association of Educational Technologists attended the BETT Show in London, one of the world’s leading education technology events. This year’s exhibition highlighted rapid developments in artificial intelligence, data‑driven learning, wellbeing tools, inclusive education, and classroom management solutions.

Beyond AI, the delegation explored innovations such as structured phone‑free programmes, vape detectors for school safety, mental‑health monitoring tools, accessibility technologies—including eye‑controlled interfaces—and movement‑based learning systems. Gamified learning platforms, STEM/robotics kits, and new VR‑book solutions were also widely showcased.

The visit included meetings with Google and Canva, as well as insights from Sal Khan of Khan Academy. For Estonia, BETT offered both inspiration and a benchmark, confirming that many themes already central in Estonia—AI training, wellbeing, inclusion, and active learning—are equally prominent internationally.
